BSB DECIMO ROUND AD OULTON PARK

DECIMO ROUND, PRIMA SFIDA DELLO SHOWDOWN

Finalmente ci siamo, il suggestivo tracciato di Oulton Park si prepara ad ospitare il decimo round del Bennetts British Superbike. Decimo round è anche sinonimo di Showdown, si perché adesso i giochi sono fatti, i pretendenti al titolo sono sei piloti.

La settimana passata abbiamo assistito a tre gare che fanno già parte della storia.

La tripletta di Leon Haslam, sempre saldamente al comando della classifica di campionato. Il primo podio nel BSB per Tarran Mackenzie. Prima volta hanno accesso allo Showdown Glenn Irwin e Bradley Ray, alla seconda stagione nel BSB. Presente all’appuntamento anche Josh Brookes, vicecampione in carica.

La settimana scorsa l’ultimo posto disponibile ha visto Peter Hickman doversi difendere dagli “attacchi” di Jason O’Halloran, Danny Bucahn e Christian Iddon. Quest’ultimo ci ha regalato tre gare memorabili. Anche se il risultato di gare può dire superficialmente altro, Christian ha corso con la clavicola sinistra rotta, in tre parti. Ma Christian non si è arreso, in gara 3 stava per salire sul podio, ci ha regalato tre gare emozionanti. Salterà questo round per poter ritornare ad Assen alla fine del mese.

Adesso che lo Showdown è iniziato non ci resta che fare il tifo per tutti!
