BSB QUARTO ROUND A SNETTERTON

QUARTO ROUND DOPO LA PAUSA DI QUATTRO SETTIMANE

Sono trascorse quattro settimane, tanto abbiamo aspettato per il quarto round del Bennetts British Superbike, che corre sul tracciato di Snetterton questo fine settimana.

Come vi abbiamo raccontato, sarà assente Shane Byrne, il portacolori del team BE Wiser Ducati prosegue il suo lungo cammino di riabilitazione, circondato dall’affetto della sua famiglia. Rinnoviamo gli auguri di pronta guarigione. In sua sostituzione Paul Bird ha chiamato Andrew Irwin, fratello di Glenn, sarà quindi una formazione tutta in famiglia. Andrew, rientrato in fretta da Brno, ha potuto provare la Ducati Panigale lunedì sul tracciato scozzese di Knockhill.

Sarà una ripresa entusiasmante. Leon Haslam arriva da leader della classifica di campionato, tallonato da Bradley Ray a soli quattordici punti. Peter Hickman torna nel BSB nelle vesti di TT winner, avendo trionfato sia nella classe Superstock, ma soprattutto, nel PokerStars Senior TT, ricordiamo che ha girato in 135.452mph!

Ritorna dopo l’infortunio Dan Linfoot, mentre il team Honda Racing deve rinunciare ancora all’altro alfiere, Jason O’Halloran, infortunatosi nel round di Imola del WSBK, chiamato in sostituzione di Leon Camier.
